Join members of the Derby Neck Library for a fall foliage trip to Vermont on Saturday, Sept. 17.
A coach bus will depart Derby High School parking lot at 7:30 a.m. and is expected to return by 7:30 p.m.
The cost is $87 per person, based on 40 – 52 registrants. Prices may vary according to the number of registrants.

The itinerary Includes:
Visiting Bennington Potters. The world famous hand made pottery continues after 68 years. We’ll be greeted and embark on a tour where we see the “hands on” approach to the pottery making process unique in today’s world. Meet the potters themselves as they describe each step of the many processes. Following our tour we’ll visit the Potters Yard Store Located in two historic buildings, a 19th Century schoolhouse and a 20th century grist mill. Pottery, glassware, unique gifts and everything kitchen.
Lunch at the Publyk House. Featuring “Vermont Dining with a View,” offering traditional New England fare in warm and inviting ambiance. Bountiful salad bar, roast turkey dinner with stuffing, homemade meatloaf, or New England scrod with Vermont cheddar and cracker crumb topping.Potatoes, vegetables, fruit cup, and whipped cream and coffee…delicious!

Visiting The Apple Barn and Country Bake Shop. We’ll have a guided coach tour of their spectacular orchard with spectacular views of all Southern Vermont. The barn is filled with Vermont products, country bake shop, ice cream parlor and of course fresh picked apples. Includes a cider donut and hot cider for everyone.
