DERBY — TEAM Inc., the Valley’s private, not-for-profit human services agency, is taking over Valley Indy Facebook this Saturday (May 1)!

TEAM Inc is dedicated to helping economically disadvantaged and vulnerable, at-risk people in the region.
From TEAM:
“Codified in law as the state and federally-designated antipoverty agency in the Lower Naugatuck Valley region, TEAM’s footprint in Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Derby, Milford, Naugatuck, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton, Waterbury & Woodbridge span basic needs & emergency assistance, case management services, housing and home heating assistance, transportation supports, employment & training, health services, and more.”
The agency helps more than 11,000 people every year.
“This Saturday, you will see photos and videos of TEAM’s programs and community outreach,” said Lisa Savoid, TEAM’s development & communications manager.
TEAM Inc. is the fifth Valley nonprofit agency this year to take over The Valley Indy’s Facebook page on a given Saturday. Past participants included The Valley United Way, BHcare, The Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley, and Massaro Community Farm.
