Bill Corbett, author of the book, “Love Limits & Lessons” and founder of Cooperative Kids will present a workshop on handling children’s power struggles with success titled “No I Won’t and You Can’t Make Me!”
The workshop highly recommended for parents of children pre‑k to grade 8, will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Ansonia High School, 20 Pulaski Highway, Ansonia.
The event is free and open to the public. Childcare will be provided and refreshments will be served at intermission.
Bill Corbett’s workshops help parents and professionals examine what they currently have in their “Discipline Toolbox” and evaluate the fact that many of these tools are outdated or no longer work.
Using lecture, humor and video, he works closely with parents and professionals in helping them to rebuild their toolbox to make room for more effective tools and methods that truly work with today’s challenging child.
