Shelton police report the teen injured in Monday’s crash on Commerce Drive is in critical, but stable condition at an unnamed area hospital.
Police identified the injured teen Wednesday as Victoria Angelo, 19, of Brookfield.
Police said they are still investigating the crash, which happened after the vehicle struck a utility pole at about 11 a.m.
Angelo was in the back seat when the vehicle hit the pole.
The road was closed for several hours as an accident reconstruction team investigated the scene.
The driver of the vehicle hasn’t been named, but police said Wednesday the driver is 17 years old and is from Bridgeport.
