The 14-year-old boy struck by a vehicle Thursday afternoon is OK, police report.
The teen was riding on the sidewalk of Wakelee Avenue heading north, then turned into the road to cross to Nichols Street, police said.
He was hit by a 2004 Chevy pick-up truck.
The boy was treated for minor injuries at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Lt. Wayne Williams said the incident is still under investigation and no charges have been filed.
