The following information is from a press release issued by the Ansonia Police Department Sunday afternoon:
Ansonia Police are requesting the assistance of area news agencies to locate a 16 year old female who was reported missing.
The female, Arline Vance, age 16, of North Spring Street was reported missing on 08-04-2013 at approximately 2:20 a.m. She was last seen at her home at 4:00 p.m. on 08-03-2013. She told her father that she was going out with friends and would return later. She has not returned home and has not been in contact with her family.
Arline is described as a 5 feet, 3‑inch tall white female with reddish/brown hair. She weighs approximately 120 lbs and has brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black and grey tank top and blue jean shorts.
At this time Ansonia Police are trying to locate Arline Vance to make sure she is safe. Vance left her residence on her own and was not involved in any type of family issues prior to her leaving the house.
