Lt. Wayne Williams of the Ansonia Police Department reports that the police department is at the intersection of Wakelee Avenue and Nichols Street, where a 14-year-old bicycle rider was struck by a car.
The teen was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Williams said in an e‑mail.
The crash is under investigation.
