There’s going to be an old-fashioned pig roast on Aug. 27 for the whole family.
The pig roast will be a fundraising event for the campaign of George R. Temple, the endorsed Republican candidate for First Selectman and his running mate Jeff Haney, who is endorsed by the GOP to run for selectman.
The roast will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Schreiber’s Farm, 571 Quaker Farms Road. There’s the pig, hotdogs, sides and soda.
Tickets are $50 a family and $25 for an individual. Come out with your family and meet the Temple-Haney families. Pay at the door.
