Ansonia police are investigating the theft of a $60,000 custom-built motorcycle from the Great Hill Shell gas station on Great Hill Road.
According to police, the motorcycle’s owner parked the bike at the gas station at about 3:30 a.m. June 6.
A short time later, video cameras at the gas station show a gray Dodge pickup truck backing up next to the motorcycle.
A man got out of the truck to look at the bike. He then wheeled the bike out of the lot, police said.
The stolen bike is black with blue flames. Its registration plate reads “OCTANE.”
The suspect is a white male. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
