The photo you see is from last year’s Walk a Mile In Her Shoes” event in Seymour, which raises money for Seymour Pink. The event has been renamed and is scheduled to happen again this Sunday.

Shelton High School Admins Go Pink!
7:45 a.m.
Headmaster Beth Smith said she’d dye her hair pink if students could raise $1,000 for the Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness. They surpassed it, so the hair dye will be flowing. Smith won’t be the only one going pink.

The 5th Annual Center for Cancer Care at Griffin Hospital 5K Walk/Run
Registration is at 7:30 a.m.
Event starts about 9 a.m.
All funds raised support programs and services for the patients of The Center for Cancer Care.
Last year this event raised about $60,000!
The 5k course starts and ends at the Center for Cancer Care at Griffin Hospital. The 3.1 mile course will take you through the flats and the rolling hills of the neighborhood surrounding the Cancer Center.

Ziti Dinner To Help Seymour Family

Mike Elder passed away Sept. 27, leaving behind his wife, Debra Roberts Elder and three sons. He was 43 years old.
