Seymour Memorial Day Parade
11 a.m.
Starts at French Park, heads toward downtown Seymour, ends at the community center on Pine Street.
Ansonia Memorial Day Parade
2 p.m.
Starts at Nolan Field and proceeds along Wakelee Avenue, down Jackson Street, passing in review at City Hall and proceeding to Big Y Shopping Plaza on Main Street.
Parking will be prohibited on the parade route from noon until about 4:30 p.m.
The parade is in honor of all veterans and a brief ceremony will be held at the front of City Hall to honor the veterans. The theme of this years’ parade is “Ansonia’s Tribute To Those Who Served and Who are Now Serving Around the World.”

Freedom Run Road Race

8:15 a.m. 5k Road Race Starts
The race starts at the Oxford Town Hall, 486 Oxford Road and goes south on Rt 67 to the Pleasant Valley Shopping Center and back to Town Hall.
Benefits the Wounded Warrior Project, American Warrior and the Oxford American Legion
Shelton-Derby Memorial Day Parade
9 a.m.
This year the parade starts in downtown Shelton, crosses the bridge into Derby, heads east on Main Street and then hangs a left up Elizabeth Street.

Oxford Memorial Day Parade
11 a.m.
Along Route 67
The headquarters will be at the junction of Pleasant Valley Shopping Center and Route 67. The parade will halt briefly at Victory Memorial Park and the World War I monument and then to Oxford Town Hall.
