Three people were hospitalized Sunday after a head-on crash on Howe Avenue in Shelton.
About 5:30 p.m. Sunday Shelton police, firefighters, and EMS were dispatched to a two-car crash in the area of 946 Howe Ave., Lt. Robert Kozlowsky said in an email Monday.
“An investigation revealed that a 2013 Honda was traveling south on Howe Ave when it was struck head-on by a 2010 Acura,” Kozlowsky said.
The driver of the 2010 Acura, William Peters, 68, of Monroe, was issued an infraction for failure to drive in the proper lane.
Kozlowsky said the drivers of both cars and a passenger in the Honda were injured in the crash and taken to the hospital, though the extent of their injuries was unknown Monday morning.
