Two people were taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital June 19 after a truck veered off Riggs Street.
The crash happened at about 11:30 a.m. Friday.
State police said the truck was heading north when it drove into a ditch, then flipped on its side.
Both the driver, Aaron Thompson, 29, of New Haven, and passenger, Carlton Lawson, 39, of West Haven, were taken to the Yale-New Haven Hospital with neck and back pain.
The state Department of Environmental Protection responded to the scene after an unspecified amount of gasoline spilled from the truck and into a small brook near the road.
Thompson was issued tickets for speeding and for failing to stay in the proper lane.
