Derby Police Commissioner Thomas Lenart recently swore-in our two newest Officers. We would like to welcome and introduce Officer Michael Sharoh and Officer Robert Michaud.
Officer Sharoh joins Derby PD after a 25 year career at Waterbury PD retiring at the rank of Lieutenant.
Officer Robert Michaud joins Derby PD after serving 5 years with Coventry Police Department. Both Officers come to us very highly recommended.Congratulations and best of luck!
The two officers are what’s called “lateral transfers,” meaning they worked previously as police officers. Lateral officers pay grades differ based on total previous years of service completed, officials said.
Officer Sharoh is being paid $87,131.20 and Officer Michaud is being paid $82,992.
