Two people were taken to the trauma center at Yale-New Haven Hospital Wednesday after a head-on crash on Roosevelt Drive.
The crash happened at about 3 p.m. on the stretch of the road known as “Pink House Cove.” Generally speaking, that’s in the area of Lakeview Terrace and Cullens Hill Road and is a frequent scene for car wrecks.
Details about Wednesday’s crash were not available, other than that it involved a car and a SUV and that the two drivers had to be taken to Yale-New Haven by Derby Storm ambulance
Derby police are investigating.
