Two members of the Venturing Crew 16 in Shelton received Bronze Awards in December.
Venturing Crews are groups under the Boy Scouts of America that allow boys and girls ages 13 to 21 to experience outdoor adventure, community service and leadership skills.
The Bronze Award is given in different categories for members who have achieved skills.
Alex Plourde, of Derby, received a Bronze Award in Religious Life.
CJ Mojcik, of Shelton, received a Bronze Award for both Religious Life and Outdoors.
Plourde and Mojcik are both Eagle Scouts who have received additional badges.
The Venturing Crew 16 is open for new members.
The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the American Legion Post 16 in Shelton.
Anyone between 13 and 21 who lives in the Valley can join the crew.
