Two of the three politicians lobbying behind the scenes to succeed House Minority Leader Lawrence F. Cafero Jr. (R‑Norwalk) are from the lower Naugatuck Valley, CT Mirror reported Thursday.
Republican lawmakers Jason Perillo of Shelton and Themis Klarides of Seymour are building support among fellow GOP’ers on the assumption Cafero won’t run for another term, the Mirror reported.
