State Representative Kara Rochelle (D – Ansonia, Derby) will hold her monthly in-person Community Coffee Events on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the back room of the Valley Diner, 636 New Haven Ave, Derby and next Monday, March 20, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Copper City Bar & Grill, 82 – 84 Main St, Ansonia.
Residents from Derby and Ansonia are welcome to attend both events. They are encouraged to share their thoughts, ask questions, and provide feedback on state policy issues.
“I do my best work when I connect directly with residents and have conversations about improving our community. I always take your priorities into account when crafting policy and advocating for the 104th district at the Capitol. It is a privilege to host these events to promote community participation in our democratic process,” said Rep. Rochelle.
At Friday’s Community Coffee Event, Rep. Rochelle will be hosting a special guest who will discuss all the services and initiatives that are underway at the Naugatuck Valley Health District. Residents will have an opportunity to share their ideas for additional programming in Derby and Ansonia.
Rep. Rochelle is seeking input from residents. This is all part of a monthly series of in-person conversations that she holds to build strong relationships with members of the community.
