DERBY — Derby City Hall sent the following message on Sunday:
“Hello, Derby Residents,
Here is your beginning of the week update.
1. The Derby Senior Center will be closed again this week while the Elizabeth St. construction is completed. Staff will report for work.
2. Derby Public Works is picking up brush and debris from the Storm. Please cut the debris into pieces less than six feet and place them near the road on your property. They will be picked up. Thanks for your patience.
3. This week’s free concert on the Derby Green features the Valley’s own Rock and Roll band Shameless. We hope to see you on Tuesday.
4. The City offers each household free bulk pick up. To schedule email derbybulkpickups@win-waste.com
5. There will be a Republican Primary for US Senate on Tuesday August 13, 2024 from 6 am to 8 pm. Voting at Irving School and Bradley School.
