The Ansonia Chargers won the Class S state football championship Friday, defeating Woodland 51 – 12.
This is the third consecutive state championship for the Chargers and the 19th in school history.

The Ansonia Chargers are scheduled to play the Woodland Hawks at 7 p.m. tonight (Friday, Dec. 13) for the Class S state football championship.
The mighty Chargers are going for their third-straight state championship.
The game is being televised on CPTV Sports.
That’s channel 139 on Cablevision and channel 966 on Comcast.
