Valley Arts Council Works On Exhibit At Oxford Town Hall

Organized by the Valley Arts Council president Richard DeCarlo, this is a fun show to see with something for everyone to enjoy.

This eclectic exhibit has a wide variety of media styles, and subject matter from fresco on wood, ink or pencil on paper, paintings in acrylic and oil to photography and includes art works depicting beautiful flowers, nudes, abstracts and comic book covers.

Exhibiting Valley Arts Council member artists include Laima Reiss, Richard DiCarlo, Stephen DiRienzo, Len Grayeck and Heming Jiang.

The Valley Arts Council serves Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Derby, Naugatuck, Oxford, Seymour and Shelton formed for the purpose of creating and promoting a connection between artists and those interested in the arts. They also have a gallery at 37 Elizabeth Street in Derby. Oxford Cultural Arts Commission holds an arts organization membership in the Council. 

The Exhibit is open for viewing through Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Monday through Thursday and until 7 p.m. every Monday and Thursday evenings in the meeting room at Oxford Town Hall 486 Oxford Road, Oxford.

This show will be a lead into the OCAC Gallery of Art showcase Weekend Juried Exhibit opening on September 23 for which entries are currently being accepted.
