Elected officials, business leaders and transportation experts advocated in Hartford Monday for better train service in the Naugatuck Valley.
For years local officials have complained spotty and infrequent train service is a chokehold on economic development.
Poor train service adds motorists to Route 8, a highway not designed to handle the amount of traffic speeding on the road every day.
