The Smart Moves and Smart leaders along with the Shelton Youth Service Bureau Youth 2 Youth group celebrated Red Ribbon week which started October 23 – 31.
Red Ribbon Week is a national program that promotes drug and alcohol awareness.
The youth “planted the promise” to stay alcohol and drug free by planting 100 red tulip bulbs at the Boys and Girls Club (celebrating the beauty of a drug-free life).
The tulips will bloom in April during alcohol awareness month.
