It was the question that had the Valley Indy Facebook page buzzing Thursday morning.
How did a car manage to rollover in the tiny parking lot of the Naugatuck Savings Bank off East Main Street Thursday morning?
According to Ansonia police, the driver said he was heading through the Big Y parking lot when he was cut off by another vehicle.
The driver had to swerve, which caused him to hit the curb and rollover into the bank parking lot.
Luckily, there were no serious injuries, but the driver was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital to get checked out.
“The investigation revealed that speed played a factor in the accident,” Lt. Andrew Cota said in an e‑mail.
No charges had been filed Thursday afternoon.
