DERBY — There will be an observation of Veterans Day on Saturday November 11, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. on The Derby Green. This will be hosted by the John H. Collins American Legion Post 24 of Derby. The guest speaker will be Andrew Cota, Past Police Chief, City of Derby and current member of Post 24 and Asst. Service Officer.
Refreshments will be served after the ceremony at the Catholic War Veterans, Post 1562, 112 Derby Avenue, Derby. All veterans and the public are invited and encouraged to attend.
