SHELTON — SHELTON VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT WEEKLY RESPONSES

On 12/14/20 at 1:45 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded with an engine to a public service call at #855 Howe Avenue.

On 12/15/20 at 6:10 am the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to assist EMS on Waverly Road near Earl Street.

On 12/15/20 at 12:22 pm the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine to an open burning at #47 Birchbank Road. The property owner had a permit for the burn.

On 12/15/20 at 12:54 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded with a unit to a public service call; lockout at #7 Heather Ridge. 

On 12/15/20 at 6:02 pm the White Hills Co. #5, Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded with two engines and a ladder truck to a report of smoke in a house at #127 Beardsley Road. There was no fire. The smoke was caused by a burnt motor in an air handling unit. 

On 12/16/20 at 7:43 am the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded with an engine and a ladder truck to a fire alarm activation at the Oakridge Waste Management at #90 Oliver Terrace. There was no fire.

On 12/16/20 at 10:36 pm the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine to assist EMS at #15 Henry Drive.

On 12/17/20 at 02:47 am the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded with an engine and a rescue truck to a motor vehicle accident on route 8 north bound near exit 13.
On 12/17/20 at 04:00 am the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to an odor in the house at #23 Quaker Ridge Road.

On 12/17/20 at 6:36 am the Huntington Co. #3 responded with a rescue truck to assist EMS at #22 Thompson Street.

On 12/17/20 at 7:58 am the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded with an engine to assist EMS at #73 Soundridge Road.

On 12/17/20 at 9:11 am the White Hills Co. #5 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to a motor vehicle accident on East Village Road at Wabuda Place.

On 12/17/20 at 12:49 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to a public service call at #71 Heather Ridge.

On 12/17/20 at 3:43 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine to a snow blower on fire in the driveway art #108 Gray Street.

On 12/18/20 at 8:20 am the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with a unit to a motor vehicle accident on Mohegan Road at High Ridge Road.

On 12/18/20 at 10:57 am the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded with a unit to a public service call at #32 Greystone Condominiums. 

On 12/18/20 at 2:34 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded with a unit to assist EMS at #6 Tuckahoe Drive.

On 12/18/20 at 9:44 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded with an engine and a ladder truck to a fire alarm activation at the Helen DeVaux Housing Complex at #91 Howe Avenue. There was no fire. 

On 12/19/20 at 3:52 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded with an engine to #150 Maltby Street for a fire alarm activation. There was no fire. 

On 12/19/20 at 5:56 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine to a fire alarm activation at #10 Ticon Court. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm.

On 12/19/20 at 6:09 pm the White Hills Co. #5, Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded with three engine and two ladder trucks to smoke in the house at #57 Rugby Road. There was no fire. A furnace problem caused the smoke.

On 12/19/20 at 9:13 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with a rescue truck to #31 Winthrop Woods Road for a carbon monoxide alarm activation.

On 12/20/20 at 2:45 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine and a rescue truck to a motor vehicle accident on Waverly Road at Isinglass Road.

On 12/20/20 at 4:19 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded with a unit to #49 Basking Ridge Road for a carbon monoxide alarm activation.

On 12/20/20 at 4:26 pm White Hills Co. #5 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded with two engines and a utility truck to an odor of natural gas at #408 Leavenworth Road.
