SHELTON — SHELTON VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT WEEKLY RESPONSES

On 04/05/21 at 5:35 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded with an engine to an open burning at #18 Huntington Street.

On 04/05/21 at 6:50 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded with an engine to power lines down on Nells Rock Road at Oak Valley Road.

On 04/05/21 at 7:38 pm Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine to power lines down on Buddington Road at Old Town Road.

On 04/05/21 at 7:41 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with an engine and two ladder trucks to an activated fire alarm at #17 Grove Street. There was no fire. 

On 04/06/21 at 11:19 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded with an engine to a fire alarm activated at #15 Serene Drive. There was no fire.

On 04/07/21 at 6:24 am the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with a unit to an activated fire alarm at #231 Coram Avenue. There was no fire. 

On 04/08/21 at 03:28 am the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded with an engine to a fire alarm activated at #4 Armstrong Road. There was no fire.

On 04/08/21 at 10:45 am the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded with an engine and a ladder truck to a fire alarm activated at the KinderCare Day Care Center at #1 Trap Falls Road. There was no fire.

On 04/09/21 at 00:47 am the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to with an engine and a rescue truck to a motor vehicle accident on Bridgeport Avenue at Long Hill Cross Road.

On 04/09/21 at 4:27 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded with an engine and a rescue truck responded with an engine to a motor vehicle accident on route 8 south bound between exits 13 and 12.

On 04/09/21 at 9:21 pm the Huntington Co. #1 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to with an engine and a rescue truck to a motor vehicle accident in front of #833 Bridgeport Avenue.

On 04/10/21 at 8:53 am the Echo Hose Co. #1, Huntington Co. #3 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded with an engine, a recue truck and a ladder truck to an odor of natural gas in the building at Great Clips #389 Bridgeport Avenue. Firefighters arrived and found the odor was from an adjacent occupancy, Matto’s Wine Bar. Firefighters found gas appliance left on overnight caused the odor.

On 04/10/21 at 10:55 am the Echo Hose Co. 31 responded with an engine to a public service call, water leak, at #57 Fort Hill Avenue.

On 04/11/21 at 12:56 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded with an engine to a fire alarm activated at #230 Walnut Tree Hill Road. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm.

On 04/11/21 at 3:42 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded with a rescue truck to a motor vehicle accident on route south bound exit 12 off ramp.
