Whabendos To Perform At Shelton Plumb Memorial Library

The Plumb Memorial Library at 65 Wooster Street in Shelton will be offering a special program of music featuring the local group Whabendos” on Friday, August 16th at 6:30 pm.

Whabendos” is a party band, playing popular music from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and beyond. The band is often asked where their name comes from…it is a mash-up of the original members’ last names (WHAlen, BENnett, GayDOS). The band formed in Milford, CT in 2018, and over the years has played multiple venues throughout the state. The band is comprised of Dave Bennett on bass, guitar, vocals, Holly Gaydos playing guitar and vocals, Jeff Janik on drums and Rich Whalen on guitar and vocals.

The program is free and open to the public. Everyone is invited to attend and registration is required. This can be done by calling the Plumb Memorial Public Library at (203) 924‑1580 ext. 5102 or be visiting our website at: sheltonlibrarysystem.org.
