Seymour police are investigating a case of apparent carbon monoxide poisoning at a home on Pheasant Drive.
Police, firefighters, and paramedics were dispatched to the house about 4:20 p.m.
A woman who was found unresponsive inside the home was taken to Griffin Hospital.
Lt. Paul Satkowski said at the scene that detectives were processing the scene, and that few details were known for sure.
“It’s still in its early stages,” Satkowski said of the investigation. “Right now we’re treating it as a medical emergency, possible carbon monoxide exposure, then we’ll go from there.”
