Police are looking for the men who used a gun to steal some $2,000 cash and two video game systems from a resident at the Riverside Apartments Sunday.
At about 10:30 p.m. Sunday, three men knocked on the woman’s door. When she opened the door to see who was there, they forced their way inside her apartment, where she was with her boyfriend and uncle.
One of the men had a gun, the woman told police.
They took her PlayStation and Xbox video game consoles, and $2,000 from her purse, the woman told police. The money was from her tax return, police said.
Then men left. No one was hurt.
There were two children in the apartment at the time of the incident, police said.
Lt. Andrew Cota said police are looking into the report. Anyone with information is asked to call the Ansonia Police Department at (203) 735‑1885.
