This week Seymour’s Bungay Elementary School and Chatfield-LoPresti Elementary School’s 4th and 5th grade students got a special visit from the Dialed Action Sports Team, a professional action sports BMX bike stunt team based out of New Jersey.

The team was there to deliver a message that bullying isn’t cool, and making healthy choices will help allow students achieve their goals and dreams.

Seymour Schools Director of Security Rich Kearns coordinated the program as part of his drug and bullying prevention efforts in the schools.

The program focused on how students can help stop bullying, stay drug free, make healthy choices and touched on bike safety.

Afterwards, professional action sports athletes; Andrew Fox from Illinois, Zach Newman from Kentucky, and Jay Dalton from Pennsylvania performed a high flying BMX aerial stunt show at both schools.

The action sports athletes who travel around the country brought in ramps and jumps to fly through the air doing flips and tricks! The program was presented by Motocross and BMX veteran Seymour’s own Bill Ragaini who travels the country now with the Dialed Action Sports Team performing and delivering the positive message through action sports.
