Celebrate Shelton and Liberty Bank are proud to announce the fourth annual Downtown Sounds Summer Concerts & Food Trucks at Veterans Memorial Park in downtown Shelton starting this Friday July 20, and continuing on July 27 and August 3.
The fun tarts this Friday, July 20 at 5 p.m. with a Kids Hour: Tom Weber’s ChildrensMusic.
At 6 p.m., Cabin Fever performs, followed by The Alpaca Gnomes. There will be free ice cream for attendees for the first 500 cones provided by Tipsy Cones and sponsored by Liberty Bank.
On Friday, July 27, there’s a 5 p.m. Kids Hour with Danny Magic. At 6 p.m. Wool Hats String Band and then Hubinger Street perform.
Friday, August 3 at 5 p.m.: Kids Hour with bringtheHoopla!
Then, 6 p.m., Kazoo Crew Family Band and then Sammy Rae & The Friends.
The concerts are free to attend, though there is a suggested contribution of $5 to sustain Celebrate Shelton’s efforts in the community.
Partial proceeds will be donated to the Lower Naugatuck Valley Boys & Girls Club.
