“The Wizard of Oz” is scheduled for March 16 and March 17 at 7 p.m. at the high school on Botsford Road, and then again on March 18 at 2 p.m.

The production is being directed and produced by Seymour High School teacher Brandt Schneider. Seymour High School teacher Stephanie Ciccone is the assistant director. Teacher Darlene Keefe is supervising set and costume construction.

In all, 37 Seymour High School students are in the production. More than 40 students are involved behind the scenes, helping with everything from playbill design to set construction.
The high school students are being joined in the cast by 48 kindergarten students from Bungay Elementary School.
The younger students will perform as Munchkins, Poppies, Ozians, Monkeys and Winkies. Each high school student has been paired with a Bungay student to mentor.
