WOODBRIDGE — A 24-year-old Seymour resident died after a car crash on Northrop Road Wednesday morning.
Police identified the deceased as Howard Brown.
Brown was driving south on Northrop Road near the intersection of Pine Hill Road when he struck a tree. The cause of the crash is under investigation. It happened at about 6 a.m.
Brown was the only person in the vehicle. Police did not release additional information.
“Reconstruction of the scene is being conducted by the Woodbridge Police Department with the assistance of accident investigators from the Ansonia and Derby Police Departments. No further details are available for release at this time,” Woodbridge police said in a prepared statement.
