On 01/07/19 at 10:35 am the Huntington Fire Co. #3, Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to the Mark Apartments at #7 Acadia Lane for an odor of natural gas in one of the buildings. An engine and a ladder truck responded.
On 01/08/19 at 8:20 am the Huntington Fire Co. #3 and the Echo Hose Co. #1 responded to #6 Armstrong Road for an odor of propane in the building. an engine and a tower truck responded.
On 01/08/19 at 1:02 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to the Ripton Housing Complex at #423 Howe Avenue for a fire alarm activation. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm. A tower truck and a ladder truck responded.
On 01/08/18 at 1:11 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to Sikorsky Aircraft Plant #3 at #33 Platt Road for a fire in the boiler room. The fire was out upon arrival of firefighters. A ladder truck and a tower truck responded.
On 01/08/19 at 1:26 pm the Echo Hose Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Co. #4 responded to the Shelton Sports Center at #784 River Road for a fire alarm activation. There was no fire. The alarm was accidentally transmitted during a test of the system. A ladder truck and a tower truck responded.
