Ansonia police expect to file charges after finding a toddler wandering on a city street Friday morning.
The child was found after someone called police to report seeing the boy alone.
He was not injured.
“We did find a 2‑year-old wandering on Hubbell Avenue this morning,” police spokesman Lt. Patrick Lynch said in an email. “He was unharmed and we are currently investigating along with DCF.”
Lynch said police expect to file charges soon.
“I expect an arrest shortly,” he said.
