Aimee Misset, the new principal of Derby’s Irving School, is the latest guest on Navel Gazing: The Valley Indy Podcast.”

Misset was hired in June by the Derby Board of Education to replace Jennifer Olson, who has been promoted to director of curriculum, instruction and assessment.

Irving School parents wanting to meet Misset in person are encouraged to attend two events:

A Meet and Greet the Principal Read Aloud is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 21 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the main meeting room at Derby Public Library.

Then, the Irving School Back to School Bash is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 5 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the school’s parking lot/playground area.
