Rell Congratulates Echo Hose

Gov. M. Jodi Rell has issued the following proclamation honoring Shelton-based Echo Hose Ambulance on its 60th anniversary, which will be celebrated on Saturday:

On behalf of the State of Connecticut I, M. JODI RELL, Governor, take great pleasure in congratulating Echo Hose Ambulance in recognition of its 60 th Anniversary.

For 60 years, the volunteers of Echo Hose Ambulance have served the City of Shelton and State of Connecticut with great honor and distinction.

With their commitment to protecting lives and well-being, responding to various emergencies, providing quality emergency medical services to the community, and by linking their anniversary celebration with the Valley United Way to build the Harvest House with non-perishable food items to feed the neediest in the community during the holiday season, the volunteer force of Echo Hose Ambulance has made significant contributions to the greater Shelton community.

The members of this fine organization have earned an outstanding reputation for their commitment to public safety. I commend the volunteers of Echo Hose Ambulance and Valley United Way for their compassion, hard work and dedication to excellence. Congratulations on this remarkable milestone and may Echo Hose Ambulance continue to serve Connecticut for years to come.

Therefore, I, M. Jodi Rell, Governor of the State of Connecticut, in appreciation for 60 years of community service and in looking forward to many more, do hereby officially convey honor and recognition upon Echo Hose Ambulance in the State of Connecticut.
