Agatha F. “Tina” Nicholas, 84, of Naugatuck, peacefully entered into eternal rest on September 29, 2011, at Griffin Hospital in Derby.
Mrs. Nicholas was born in Ansonia on July 5, 1927, daughter of the late Joseph M. and Philomena Cimino Giardina. A resident of Naugatuck since 1991, she was employed as a Legal Secretary at the former Law Firm of Meyers, Breiner, & Neufeld in Bridgeport until her retirement in 1990.
She is survived by a loving son, David A. Nicholas and his wife Krista of Trumbull, a loving daughter, Janet M. Conklin and her husband Raymond of Naugatuck, her step-mother, Lucy Beatrice Giardina of Ansonia, two sisters, Joan M. Giardina and Lucille Palmucci and her husband Joseph of Ansonia, cherished grandchildren, Sawyer, Colton, and Jensie-Rose Nicholas and Marissa Conklin, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Frank J. Giardina.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Saturday October 1, 2011, at 9:30 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery in Derby.
