Agnes M. Madden

Agnes M. Madden, 81, of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on October 31, 2013, at Gardner Heights in Shelton. 

Miss Madden was born in Derby on August 11, 1932, daughter of the late John E. and Loretta Barrett Madden. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, she was employed as a registered nurse at Hewitt Memorial Hospital in Shelton for over fifty years until her retirement. Agnes was a communicant of the Church of the Assumption in Ansonia.

She is survived by a sister, Loretta M. Powers of Derby, sister in law, Nora Madden of FL, nieces and nephews, John Madden and Timothy Madden of FL, Kathleen Goldstein of Seattle, WA, Karen Spring of Waterbury and Deborah Fiddler of Ansonia, and several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, John E. Madden.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend her graveside funeral service on Monday November 4, 2013, at 10:00 am (DIRECTLY) at Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery in Derby, with Rev. Jeffrey Gubbiotti, Pastor of the Church of the Assumption in Ansonia officiating. There will be no public visiting hours. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, has been privileged with the arrangements.
