Alba Beam, age 95, of Derby, entered into rest on Saturday November 8, 2014 in the Griffin Hospital Derby. She was the devoted wife of the late Harry Beam.
Mrs. Beam was born in Derby on October 5, 1919 daughter of the late Carlo and Rose Colonese Iaomacci, and was a lifelong resident, and a member of St. Mary’s Church.
She was an employee of the Wiffle Ball, Inc. for many years until her retirement.
She is the beloved sister of Esther Passaretti, Rita Sadick, the late Dominick Iaomacci, the late Carlo Iaomacci, Jr., and the late Theresa Clark. Mrs. Beam also leaves many loving nieces and nephews.
Friends may greet her family on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:30 AM in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home 253 Elizabeth Street Derby. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Mary’s Church Derby. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery.
At the request of her family in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’ Church 212 Elizabeth Street Derby.
