Alcine A. Limauro

Alcine A. (Doyle) Limauro, 77, of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday Jan. 30, 2013, at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Anthony M. Limauro.

Limauro was born in Derby on March 30, 1935, daughter of the late James and Alice Fitzgerald Doyle. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, she was a graduate of Mandl School of Medical Assisting in New York City. She was employed as a medical assistant for various doctors in the New Haven area and later as the office manager at James Heating Oil in Derby.

In addition to her husband Anthony, she is survived by two sons, James A. Limauro (Patricia) of Bethany and Thomas J. Limauro of North Haven, two daughters, Nancy J. Limauro of Uncasville and Christine A. Rowland (Keith) of Ansonia, four cherished grandchildren, Anthony J. and Laurean M. Limauro and Samantha M. and Thomas J. Rowland, a great-grandson, Christian J. Limauro and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Guarnieri.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday Feb. 3, 2013, from 2 – 5 p.m. in the chapel of the Spinelli-Ricciuti Funeral Home, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. 

On Monday, friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral at 8:15 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia.
