Alfred G. Felice, Sr.

Alfred G. Felice, Sr., age 94, of Derby, entered into rest on Friday, May 16, 2014, in CT Hospice. 

He was born in Derby on Jan. 24, 1920, son of the late Frank and Rose (Maida) Felice and was a lifelong Derby residence. Al was a Veteran of the US Army serving during World War II.

He was employed at Sikorsky Aircraft for over 27 years in the Shipping Department. Al was a 60 year member of the Paugassett Hook and Ladder Company. He was a member of the Nutmeg AC Club, Lafayette AC Club, Catholic War Veteran St. Michael Post 1562, St Jude Church Men’s Club and a social member of the A.M Club. 

An avid golfer, Al was a 20 year member of Highland Golf Club, where he had three hole’s in one. 

He is the beloved father of Rosemary Curina and her husband Albert, Roberta Wagner and her husband Richard and Alfred G. Felice, Jr. and his wife Sherry, loving grandfather of Stephen and Jonathan Curina, Matthew, Daniel and Amy Wagner, Kristin Felice Kotulak, Kimberly Felice Hawk, and great grandfather of Isabella and Julianna Wagner, Marijke and Elise Curina and Kylie Kotulak.

He was predeceased by his first wife Ella (Sensese) Felice, his second wife Edera (Vagnini) Felice, three brothers, Frank, Louis and Gabriel and three sisters, Mary Garofalo, Louise Salce, Frances Felice. 

Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. His funeral will leave the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:15 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Jude Church, Derby. Burial with full military honors will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery.
