Alice F. Ewaskie, age 100, resident of Seymour, CT passed away on June 19, 2025, at her home.
Alice was born on March 26, 1925, in Derby, CT, the daughter of the late, Stephen and Frances (Glinka) Senetcky. She graduated from Assumption School and attended Ansonia High School.
Alice was a homemaker who was affectionally known as Mom, Nana, G‑Nana, Chachee Alice and Aunt Alice, who loved, and was loved deeply. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, and word searches. Alice was a devout member of the Church of the Good Shepherd (Saint Nicholas Parish) living her life prayerfully in the service of others.
Alice is survived by her sons, Kenneth, Glenn and David, daughters’-in-law, Sharon and Sharon, grandchildren, Dawn Black, Denise Miranda, Roxanne Stewart and Nicole Triebwasser, great grandchildren, Robert Black, Madilynn Black, Michael Miranda, Steven Triebwasser and Eric Triebwasser and her many nieces and nephews.
Alice was predeceased by her brother Stephen Senetcky and her husband Walter Ewaskie.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 9:30am to 11:30am at Miller Macari Family Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street, Seymour, CT 06483. A Funeral mass will be held at 12:00pm at the Good Shepherd Church, 135 Mountain Road, Seymour, CT. Burial will immediately follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, 15 Church Street, Ansonia, CT.
