Allen F. Jachyra, a 56-year-old resident of Seymour and husband to Ruth DeForest Jachyra, passed away Feb. 1.
He was born August 20, 1958 in Derby, son of the late Anthony & Anna Cwalinski Jachyra.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he worked for Practical Automation Co. for 29 years. He was also an avid fisherman and member of the Legion Pool. In addition to his wife, he leaves 2 sisters, Arlene Jachyra of Derby, & Anna Vincent of Beacon Falls, brother Anthony Jachyra of Boston, MA. & special friends, his dog Baby & cat Irwin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held and will be announced.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to The Smilow Cancer Treatment Center in New Haven.
