Amber Jean Scarpulla, 20, of Seymour, unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on May 1, 2014, at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Amber was born in Bridgeport on June 3, 1993, beloved daughter of Mark Scarpulla (Kathi) of Seymour and Jennifer Norton McKay of Tennessee. She was a graduate of the High School in the Community in New Haven in 2012.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Mark Scarpulla Jr. and Ryan Scarpulla of Seymour, three sisters, Alicia Olynciw of Ansonia, Kimberly Olynciw and Amanda Scarpulla of Seymour, maternal grandfather, John Norton of CA, 2 nieces, Emma Migani and Natalee Scarpulla of Seymour, a nephew, Kanye Tinney of Ansonia and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by a sister, Alicia Scarpulla, paternal grandparents, Michael and Jean Scarpulla and maternal grandmother, Patricia Norton.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday morning May 6, 2014, from 9 to 11:00 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 11:00 am, Amber’s funeral service in celebration of her life will take place with Deacon Richard Renker officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Riverside Cemetery in Oxford.
In lieu of flowers, it would be greatly appreciated by the family if contributions can be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses. This may be done by either contacting the funeral home or when attending Amber’s service.
