Amy “Yvonne” Desiderioscioli, 71, of Milford, entered into eternal rest on March 12, 2012, at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Paul Desiderioscioli.
Mrs. Desiderioscioli was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada on April 6, 1940, daughter of the late Francis James and Frances LaFlosse Fane. She was employed in the bonding room at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford for 22 years until her retirement. Yvonne enjoyed traveling and playing Bingo.
In addition to her husband Paul, she is survived by daughters, Cindy Peterson (David) of Seymour and Cheryl Wheway of West Haven, a son, James Wheway Jr. of Bridgeport, a step-daughter, Jan Sperling of Hamden, a step-son, Paul Desiderioscioli Jr. of Branford, sisters, Frances Schempp of Bethlehem and Dolores Hubbard of Stratford, grandchildren, Shawn, James III, Richard, Beau, Alyssa, Angelique, Kimberly, Michael, and Kevin, a great-granddaughter, Jayda, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Bernie and a sister Shirley Meraviglia.
Per Yvonne’s request, her funeral service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
