Angela D. Stefano, 82, of Derby, peacefully entered into eternal rest on April 9, 2014, at Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Stefano.
Mrs. Stefano was born in New Haven on August 26, 1931, daughter of the late John and Rose Ferriolo Cozzolino. A resident of Derby since 1956, she was devoted to her loving family. Angela was a communicant of St. Jude Church in Derby and was an avid fan of the NY Mets and UConn women’s basketball.
She is survived by a son, Paul A. Stefano, three daughters, Lisa Miller (Donald), Mary Ann Stefano and Susan Stefano, all of Derby and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral on Saturday April 12, 2014, at 10:00 am (PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY) at St. Jude Church, 71 Pleasant View Road in Derby for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby. Per Angela’s request, there will be no visiting hours.
