Angela M. Anderson, age 92, a lifelong resident of Derby, entered into eternal rest on December 30, 2023, peacefully at her home. She was born in Derby, on February 19, 1931, daughter of
the late Alexander and Angelina Salemme. Angela was the proud owner and operator of AMA Real Estate in Derby for 35 years. She was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching UCONN
Basketball and the New York Yankees. She loved spending time with her family and friends; her granddaughters were the light of her life.
Angela is survived by her son Eric Anderson and his wife Melanie, granddaughters, Brittany Anderson and Lauren Anderson, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son William Anderson, three brothers, Michael Salemme, Louis Salemme, Alexander Salemme, Jr., and three sisters, Mary Franco, Theresa Volpe and Margaret Fanelli.
Friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St. Derby. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:45 a.m. for her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 212 Elizabeth St. Derby. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
