Angelina R. Scaife, age 80 of Shelton, beloved wife of the late John (Jack) G. Scaife, Sr., passed away June 10, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Angelina was born in Shelton, April 14, 1937, daughter of the late Adolph M. and Anna M. Fusco DiCapua and was a lifelong Shelton resident.
She worked as an assembler and inspector for many years with Hull Dye and Print Works and later with Swiss Army Brands Inc. until her retirement.
She is survived by her sons, John (Jack) G. Scaife, Jr. and Tony (Anthony) A. Scaife; her daughter, Ruth Ann Scaife-Sanabria (Edgardo); her grandchildren, Tanya Lucas, Jennifer Lucas, Mark J. Lucas, Anthony M. Lucas, John G. Scaife, III, Richard (Rich) J. Scaife, Jessica A. Scaife, Heather M. Scaife, and Jason M. Scaife; her great grandchildren, Zane W. Cooper, Syndell M. Cooper, Zoe R. Lucas, and Jaden J. Tucker; her brothers, Louis J. DiCapua, Sr., John A. DiCapua, Sr., (Linda); her sisters, Elizabeth M. Judy (Robert), and Marie F. Poirier; her sisters-in-law, Carol DiCapua, Jean R. Scovile, and Georgianna Cairone; her godson, Frank DeLorenzo (Mary), and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Christopher DiCapua, and her sister, Elisa G. DeLorenzo.
A memorial service will be held Friday June 16th at 7:00 PM in the James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton. Calling hours will be held from 4 PM until time of service. Burial will be private.
